The Agriturismo San Tommaso is located on the sunny side of a hill 200 m above sea level, the absolute protagonist is the view of the infinite valley and the SUN that from morning to evening creates wonderful atmospheres of light until sunset with breathtaking views. The typical Tuscan countryside with cultivated hills, olive trees and vineyards will immerse you in a dimension of relaxation to enjoy the sweet life together with your friends or family.
We are 2 km from the town of Pomarance with shops, restaurants and cafes and 30 km from the sea and in a central position with respect to the most important cities of art such as Siena, Florence, Pisa, Lucca. In about 30 minutes you can reach Volterra, Massa Marittima, San Gimignano and the cellars of the most important wines of Tuscany. Ideal for trekking, cycling and horse riding. We are in the unmistakable scenery of the Val di Cecina, a land of ancient villages and nature reserves that surround the immediate surroundings. Not far away there are the sources of the Cecina river with wonderful bodies of water to bathe in and enjoy uncontaminated nature.
Apartments
The apartments are all different and can accommodate from 2 to larger groups of people. They have been realized with care by the owner maintaining the atmosphere of the typical Tuscan country house and are comfortable both for a short holiday and for longer stays.
All are with independent entrance on the ground floor and equipped with air conditioning, heating, well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer and barbecue. Everyone has their own private space in the garden for outdoor dining and also their own private shaded space with deck chairs and sun loungers in the pool garden.
A common room with washing machines and a large car park are available to guests. The fast wi-fi connection is available in the entire structure (inside and outside).

Relax in the countryside
We are on a hill about 300 meters above sea level with a beautiful view over the valley. From here you can see only sky, meadows, olive groves and vineyards with the typical colors of the Tuscan countryside.
Strolling in the green of the large garden, you can stop at the edge of the pond, cool off and relax in the large swimming pool and in the evening admire spectacular sunsets. This is the right place to relax and disconnect from the daily routine.
The 16 x 8 m swimming pool is fenced and has a waterfall, a hot tub, a paved beach for the shoreline and a private shaded area with deck chairs and loungers for each apartment or villa. The pool is sanitized with chlorine and can also be used at night thanks to the lighting both inside and outside the pool. It is available from the first Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
Olive oil
The property is a part of an organic farm that produces with biodynamic cultivation Tuscan Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil from varieties of olive trees Pendolino, Frantoio, Leccino, Muraiolo, Maurino. Available on request for tasting and purchase directly in the villa.

The nature reserve, the Berignone forest and the Cecina river which offers a sort of natural swimming pool with many small waterfalls and numerous small beaches of the Masso delle Fanciulle, is the ideal place for horse trekking. The Santa Barbara Equestrian Center organizes horse rides. From beginners to experts, everyone will find the right itinerary for their needs and enjoy a horse riding experience in contact with nature.
